"You're laughing at me?" Kate stands up. "Here I am with a genuine worry and concern that I'm a horrible person in disguise and you're sitting there laughing at me?"
"You're going to have to just accept it," he tells her. "But it might take you some time. You really wanted to construct a reality around you being a bad person, but since you're not one, it won't hold." He shrugs.
"Think about how much evidence supports it compared to something people believe in easily without any tangible proof," he offers. "Like Santa or... God."
"I never was a Believer, Malcolm." She doesn't disbelieve in God but she doesn't disbelieve either. "Logically..." She begins, "I think that you're right but my feelings don't agree with that."
