At the welcome physical encouragement coupled with the reassurance, Malcolm stepped up onto the platform that served as his bedroom, for a given value of 'a room' and pulled some sweatpants and a t-shirt out of the dresser, changing into his standard 'what if I break out of those restraints and run into the street?' nightclothes before heading into the bathroom to clean up.
"You should keep some things here," he said as he returned to the main room. "A toothbrush. Some clothes. Then you don't have to carry a bag back and forth. I'm going to keep things in Lexington when we find a place."
