“I think that might be more the sort of thing we do in our travels. Sort of… on our own terms,” Malcolm tells him.

He studies Malcolm. "You want to be a vigilante?"

[abrightboy]

“…Not exactly. We’re going to be traveling in the multiverse,” Malcolm tells him.

He nods; he and Alec are going to be doing some of that, too. "But how will you stop killers without authority to arrest them?"

[abrightboy]

“There’ll be a learning curve, but there must be such a thing as a citizen’s arrest or an authority we can call with our information,” Malcolm says.

He nods; reasonable. "Alec and I are going to take down super soldier programs. Every one we've ever heard of has been rife with abuse and corruption."

[abrightboy]

“That’s a good one, too,” Malcolm tells him, looking down in what’s almost a reflex when he smiles. “Maybe we’ll cross paths out there too.”

Lark grins. "I'd like it if we did. There's plenty of room for your skillset in that kind of work."

“I’m sure we’d both be happy to help,” Malcolm tells him.
