Gil came and went. Dani came and went. Ainsley came and then left with their mother, who refused to even hear him out about telling the truth. He stared through the window at the motionless man in the bed for some indeterminate amount of time, his hand clutching his phone in his pocket.

Finally he let his eyes leave the figure through the window and he took his phone out of his pocket. He stared at that for a long moment, then scrolled through his contacts until one name rolled onto the screen: Raylan Givens.

He looked through the window, then looked at the name. Then he pressed it.

When Raylan took them in hand together, Malcolm's breath hitched into his mouth before the grasp in his hair tightened and the kiss grew hungrier and messier.

God, Raylan set every nerve in his body on fire in the best way, but that wasn't the thing that kept him coming back. It was an amazing feature of being with him, though.

It was also all he could focus on as he arched his back a little to press into that hand, his shoulderblades pressing against the wall. He brought one leg up around Raylan's waist, his knee pressing against the bottom of Raylan's ribs, pleasure half grunted, half moaned against his mouth.

It was an amazing feat of intuitive physics, leverage and strength on both their parts to hold Malcolm's weight, though Raylan's free hand gladly gripped and lifted his ass. He wished he had three hands so he could do everything he wanted at once, but for right now, he was stuck here.

Happily stuck here, Raylan rolled their foreheads together to break the kiss with a rough sound. "Don't suppose water works the same way as lube does it? Should we find out?"

Malcolm fumbled blindly at the shelf nearby, knocking over at least two bottles as he grabbed whatever his hand fell on.

"Use shampoo," he gasped, holding the bottle out to Raylan with no idea as to whether it was actually shampoo. But shower gel or conditioner would be okay too.

They'd find out later that it was a shower gel, complete with Raylan trying desperately to not laugh at the images of bubbles coming out of Malcolm's ass, but for now, he was to busy to notice, propping it on Malcolm's thigh to pop open and drizzle liberally all over them, making sure to pop it back shut against the wall, dropping it afterwards.

Smearing it all around with another few deft strokes of his hand, Raylan pulled his hips back and positioned himself, quickly grabbing Malcolm's other flank before he started pushing in with a tight groan that had him leaning forward to kiss Malcolm as hungrily as they were before.

Malcolm gripped Raylan's shoulder to hold himself steady in an effort not to pull his hair too hard.

When the kiss broke, he tilted his head back against the tiles, gasping needy little sounds as he tilted his hips into each thrust.

Raylan loved all of it from the desperate hand in his hair to the one on his shoulder, to the way that Malcolm's neck shifted, elongated and glistened with the spray of the shower. His eyes moved down, enjoying every firm curve of his boyfriend and the abandon, and trust, that he got to enjoy.

With Malcolm's weight being held by leverage and Raylan's hands lifting from his ass, Raylan took advantage of that and control of their pace by slowing down to a crawl, torturing both of them by almost withdrawing all the way only to sink back in before slowly speeding back up when he was fully satisfied with the wriggling of Malcolm's lusty suffering.

Malcolm lifted his head only to tilt it forward against Raylan's, squeezing his shoulder as the pace picked up again.

The shower spray somehow added to everything, and not just in slickness. It was already intimate to be in there together. To claim each other there was erotic as hell.

"I love you," he gasped, his hand sliding from Raylan's shoulder around his neck to better brace himself.

"I love you too," Raylan managed, the words rough and from the back of his throat as he lost himself into the movements and the sweet entanglement of their bodies. He'd do anything for the man in his arms, an idea that had crossed his mind before many a-time but crashed into him with full force as the pressure at the small of his back got tighter.

"Malcolm," he grunted, face twisting as he pushed himself in for a long moment, mouth falling half open as he twitched in Malcolm's velvet clutch, body pushing more after he came and sending his hips back to moving to help get and push Malcolm over his own edge. The fun didn't stop just because he climaxed. He didn't want it to; sexual hunger could get him a lot of places.

The coiling of Raylan's body in orgasm, followed by the fevered pace resuming shorted out Malcolm's mind for a moment before it did the same to his body, sticky warmth spreading where they were pressed together as he gasped and let his head fall back against the tiles again, panting a breathless "don't drop me" as he held on to Raylan for dear life.

It was a moment before he could manage to get his feet even shakily back on the floor and he lifted his head to press a tender kiss to Raylan's mouth.

"I won't," he promised, though the promise was as shaky as he felt as he gently gave Malcolm back to his own weight one leg at a time, leaning his own on a forearm propped against the shower as he was kissed.

It wasn't fair that Malcolm had to leave.

When the kiss broke, Raylan smiled warmly at him and selfishly stole another before he spoke up. "Guess now we've got a reason to shower, hmm? C'mon, you first," he said, shifting so Malcolm had full free access to the showerhead.

Yes, he planned on washing every part of Malcolm and being washed in return.

The words 'come with me' had almost slipped out of his mouth at least four times that evening and he'd swallowed them because he knew two things: that Raylan couldn't and that - if he asked - that Raylan might anyway.

This time, as the words tried to get out, Malcolm glanced down and huffed a laugh.

"Always making a mess," he breathed as he let himself get steered under the spray so his hair could be properly wet.

He loved this ritual. He loved washing Raylan's hair, in particular, as much as he had the first time he did it.

There was no doubt he would look at trying, but he had work to do. It was the same reason he didn't ask Malcolm to stay. To ignore his family and be selfish with him.

Raylan smiled and hummed a note as he worked his fingers through Malcolm's hair and reached back for one of the bottles. "Whatever we grabbed, it was not shampoo," he declared as he poured some out, put the bottle away and started working a lather into Malcolm's hair.

He liked this ritual too. Showering with someone wasn't new but the care and attention that Malcolm put into washing his hair was more than sweet. Showering had become a whole new pleasure.

Malcolm laughed, glancing around the floor of the shower that was littered with three different bottles.

"Well. It did the job."

He closed his eyes and tipped his head back a little so Raylan could reach his hair properly.

"Ooh is that the lavender one?" he murmured as Raylan lathered his hair.

"Think so. Smells like it, anyway," Raylan murmured back, taking in the way Malcolm looked while he could, while his fingers were busy lathering and rinsing out the later a moment later. God, Malcolm was a pretty man.

"Conditioner," he continued just as softly, sliding a hand around Malcolm's waist as he turned them around in the shower before reaching past him for the bottle in question and popping it open.

Malcolm kept his eyes closed, let Raylan move him where he needed to be, smiling at the sound of his voice.

"Do you want the same one?" he asked.

"Whatever one your hand falls to. They all remind me of you anyway." Filling his hands with a small amount, Raylan rubbed them together before working that into Malcolm's hair.

"You decide how I smell, darlin'" he invited with a little lift of his chin towards the selection.

His smile broadened.

"Is that what you're going to smell all day tomorrow?" he asked.

He'd have to pick something comforting.

"That's a big responsibility," he said lightly, still looking charmed and delighted.

"Mmhmm," Raylan hummed as he slicked back Malcolm's hair and started rising his hands off, eyes always coming back to Malcolm's face when they could. "You've been doin' it well so far." His face split back into a grin. "Pretty sure you're a natural at it."

Malcolm swiped the bulk of water from his eyes, blinking against droplets as he opened them to see Raylan's grin.

Oh, his heart.

He had to press a kiss to that smile. And another.

Then he could peruse the bottles and choose one. Green tea and citrus.

He gently kicked one of the ones on the floor out of the way as he poured some in his palm, reaching up to thread it into Raylan's hair.

"Those too," he continued as the second kiss was broken. If that's what he got for smiling, he'd be doing it a lot around him. Raylan took the chance while Malcolm was deciding to lean his head back and card a hand through his shorter hair, wetting it quickly.

Opting to enjoy the almost scalp massage that came with it, Raylan slid his hands around Malcolm's waist and kept them closer than strictly necessary. They could soap once his hair was setting in conditioner; for right now, Raylan was just soaking it up.

'Stocking up' was the phrase he'd taught Malcolm for that. It fit and it was in Malcolm's mind a lot in times like this, when they were going to be apart again soon.

"Well, it's definitely not practice in that case," he agreed with a self-deprecating laugh. A beat. "Actually... lately...." He looked up at him from under his eyelashes with a grin.

Raylan grinned again, lifting his eyebrows a little. "Experience is the best teacher. And I am certified to teach," he said. "You're already on the honor roll, don't worry. Solid A+."

Malcolm laughed delightedly.

"I'm very honoured to make the roll," he said, moving him back into the spray, stepping with him, to wash out the shampoo, then stepping back with him to bring him out again. He reached for the complementary shampoo and realized it wasn't there. He glanced around and found it on the floor, having to step out of Raylan's grasp to retrieve it, but moving close to him again once he had it, squeezing it into his hand.

Raylan stepped back as directed and closed his eyes as he leaned his head back, letting Malcolm rinse him clean and pull him forward again. His grin slipped back onto his features once it was safe to do so, and at Malcolm's glance around.

"I think our shower gel is down there too," he said with a pull of that grin as he stayed still, letting Malcolm work the conditioner in. "You'll have to get it, it's closer to you."

Well. He could get it himself but why would he rob himself of such a good view?

"I did also knock them down," he conceded as he left the conditioner to soak into Raylan's hair. "Fair's fair." He bent and picked up one, then made his way over to the other. "Though someone was contributing significantly to that lack of hand eye coordination," he teased with a grin as he bent to pick up the other before putting them both back on the shelf.
