Raylan's eyes didn't waver from their target but if he were a cat, one ear would have been tilted back towards Malcolm for his opinion. Silence was acceptance, in this case.

"If this leads to a dead end, you're gonna be our first stop," Raylan promised. "Where else would he have gone for now? What other friends you got in this area that'd take him in?"

The guy listed off three different names, three different streets and Raylan nodded again.

"You remember my promise now," he said, head dipping a little with a nod of his brim.
