In not knowing what to expect from the evening, the break from Malcolm's otherwise impeccable politeness was its own surprise but what surprised Raylan more was the almost vicious way Malcolm wielded his best skill. It was good and right for a son to defend his mother, and more than a little gratifying to watch an insecure ass get cut down.
