“It’s called a ball bearing compass,” JT supplies.

Malcolm looks at him curiously.

“I liked math class.”

“It’s his,” Dani tells them. “It has his initials engraved in it.”

“So the killer didn’t bring his own weapon. It was a crime of opportunity,” Malcolm points out.
