What job have you taken?

There weren’t any spots available in the counselling office. I’ve helped out here and there as needed, but I have a temporary inmate so I’m mostly focusing on that.

To which people? For what? Sorry, I didn’t realize this was a job interview.

...Do you only want the role of counselor if the Admiral agrees that's what you are?

…No. Although… is it still called a job then or is it more of a hobby?

[He laughs] If it is, you don't say it out loud. People don't like being referred to as hobbies.

So that's not just in romantic relationships, huh?

Romance. I’m mostly good at my hobbies.

I was all thumbs at it too. Mostly because I was always trying to use my partners and people, apparently, don't like that either.

I’ve been used. I was willing to live with it, but she got what she wanted and left.

What was it that made it worth living with?

Worse how? I doubt you're worse than I am. Or some of our inmates

Well. Not 'worse' as in 'more evil' so much as 'worse' as in 'more annoying to live with'.

[ukan]

[He grins] I ate my husband's favorite pair of boots when he wouldn't weed the garden. You can't be worse than that.

Maybe the problem was her.
