"Are you still going to come try the skylight with me?" he asked.

He grinned and sat up without knocking her off his lap, feeling around for her pants so he could give them back to her.

He looked up. "It's still clear out."

"Then I guess you'll have to keep an eye on it for me. Check on it now and then," he suggested, opening the door and holding it for her.

"At least three times a day," she promised with a grin, walking into the house.

The table had been cleared, and she could hear water running in the kitchen. She peaked in to see the chef washing dishes.

"Oh, that's nice!" She looked back at Malcolm. "Is that part of his job?"

"It's supposed to be a full service. I guess I assumed he'd bring an assistant of some sort, but whatever works for him," Malcolm remarked.

"Maybe we should tip him more?" she suggested, really not knowing how any of it worked but wanting to treat the chef well. "His food was really good."
