How can you know what you need if you don't examine the stories you tell yourself about stuff?

It’s not curable. A lot of disorders that aren’t curable are manageable. Questions like the ones I was asking help establish baselines. They also help you examine your own thought processes. They also help me establish your ‘normal’, since you want me to look out for signs of conditioning. But ‘stupid’ is another word for it, I guess.

Why did that question provoke you and the other two didn’t?

Because you can’t let someone else be in control of anything you’re involved in, even if they have expertise and you don’t? We should probably examine that too.

I come to you and say I want you to keep an eye out for the possibility that I'm losing control of myself, that I've been brainwashed, that there's someone else in the driver's seat of my head. And you're surprised that I don't want someone else doing anything with my head that I don't have control of?

You wanna think about connecting the dots a little, or what.
