I'll save you a little time. ...I got in a bit of a dust up in my dream. We're both fine now, I'm honestly a lot more upset he told someone about my memory... Other than that, I've never harmed anyone here. Not even by orders, or negligence, or anything like that.

[Walter was getting up to maybe head over but now he just stands there midstep for a second]

...I don't know. I mean... I'm an Inmate. Why wouldn't they have some reason to judge me?

That's not really their job in regards to Inmates, but I guess some people are just judgey.

I don't know, I guess I'm having an "is it illegal to be in a group" moment. Level three, right?

[Walter are you supposed to know that, did Malcolm tell you that... well it's the level where the inmate bathrooms are so he has to go back and forth there a lot and sometimes even wait around outside to make sure he doesn't get into an awkward situation. Shhhhhh.]

I know that sort of moment. Level three. I’ll leave the door open.

[When Walter arrives, he’ll find himself in a large open concept loft. To his left as he walks in, past a set of stairs that go mysteriously up somewhere, there’s a livingroom, dominated by a large ornate stone fireplace and floor to ceiling bookshelves with display cases of antique weapons inset in them. On an adjacent wall are two large gothic paintings hanging over a sideboard holding a vintage record player and a crystal decanter of top shelf scotch. In front of him is a large kitchen island with four stools. On the counter are four prescription pill bottles in a tidy row next to a business card holder full of affirmation cards. Malcolm is standing behind it, in the kitchen. To his right is the bedroom, a large, neatly made bed with a set of leather restraints sitting openly on top of the bedspread in front of a large half-circle window. All the windows have city views of SoHo, New York City. There are canvases and art supplies under the stairs, in front of another large window. Next to the kitchen island is a large terrerium containing two San Francisco garter snakes. Near the door is a parakeet in a cage that chirps and flaps when Walter enters. Malcolm looks up from making tea and smiles.]

Heyhey. Woah.

[Walter is relaxing in a strange way coming inside. It's like his body had forgotten open plans existed. He looks at Malcolm starting to wonder what's going on with the clearly deliberate display of the pill bottles (cards not legible from here), but the bed with its restraints comes into view behind him. Honestly his first thought is that, well, Malcolm is in a committed relationship... but the restraints seem somewhat more professionally oriented than that, so. Why. Who prisoner. With timing for his hand to pass in front of the dubious expression on his mouth, he waves towards the birdcage as he starts walking further inside.]

Hello to the infamous non-canine/feline pets.

Malcolm laughs lightly. "Infamous? They've never done anything wrong in their lives. Well. The parakeet is down to crime, if I'm honest, but snakes get a bum rap." He gestures to the stools on Walter's side of the island. "Have a seat. Tea?"

"Notorious. Ignomious. Of ill repute." Walter riffs facetiously, but he means to convey that he didn't mean infamous that badly. Though a chatty bird that's down to crime gets a fond look from him for reasons that will make sense if his file ever goes into circulation.

He sits, legs slightly swinging, unabashedly. "Absolutely. What do you have?"
