I never wanted to have oracle powers in the first place. They’re only good for spying and only in a limited capacity.

Hardly. The coven system was a creation of Belos’. Flawed from the very start to divide magic and weaken us through infighting. Even as a new recruit I could see I wanted all my magic and in order to do that I needed to be part of his group.

Belos ruled us for fifty years. Anyone opposing his rule was petrified - literally encased in stone and dead. Any indication of how things used to be was eliminated.

Most of the coven heads are going to try and kill each other to get to the top. I was trying to survive.

...Kikimora, it's something to start thinking about, not something to beat yourself up for not having yet. How can you make a plan before you know who you are?

I don't know what's going to happen when I go back! Stupid HUNTER isn't even going to be there, HE'S going off to a whole other realm. But I have to deal with Terra, and Adrian Vernworth, and probably half the coven heads because they'll all be vying for power and I've got a target on my back.

Not to mention I'm the face of an organization that petrified my fellow witches so even the others who aren't part of the coven system despise me. I have no friends, no family I can go back to. I can't even get my revenge because Belos is either dead or in the human dimension.

But I don't want to be anywhere else because everywhere I go, people stare at me! I don't want to go and learn a whole new system of currency or power or language or social customs, I want my own, because I miss home, even if there was never was much of it to begin with.

And I don't want to leave here without having a plan but somehow not having a plan feels more like graduation than anything has. Before when you said I could have your deal, all of these ideas about revenge and power kept circling around but now it all just feels too big! I don't want to do it.

[she dissolves into loud muffled sobbing]

Kikimora... what if you try to... dream a little smaller with your deal? Revenge and power are... they sound good on paper but they're not great in practice. So maybe start with one detail and go from there. What part of your planet would you like to live in, if you could choose?
